Recruiting: Baylor makes top six for a major 2021 target but loses a 2020 signee

Let’s start with the two biggest developments of the day:

I’ll begin with the good news. Baylor is among the six finalists for Duncanville linebacker Kendrick Blackshire‍. The four-star prospect is a bonafide top-10 player in the state when healthy, but he missed all of last season with a knee injury. Baylor making the cut is huge and means he wasn’t lying about his interest in the Bears when I talked to him after Baylor’s Junior Day in March.
