Baylor commit Kyron Drones making his mark at Elite 11 Camp for quarterbacks
Pearland Shadow Creek High School quarterback and Baylor commit Kyron Drones continues to perform well at the Elite 11 Finals in Nashville.
After day one he was considered by all to be inside the top five. He garnered a lot of praise from some of the coaches there, especially former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer.
SicEm365 traded messages with Drones’ father, Kevin Drones, about the time at the event after two days.
“He finished day one ranked 5th and had some good throws,” his dad, Coach Kevin Drones told SicEm365. “Competition is Great. There is some major talent here.”
On day two, Drones had a good day overall but in the pro day competition he finished with a score of 32, which put him just outside the top 10 for the competition. The top score was a 45 by Ohio State commit Kyle McCord and the number 10 score was a 34 by five-star Caleb Williams.
Drones will be back at it again today starting at 10 a.m. CT with the 7-on-7 portion of the competition. This will be his last day to impress since this is the final day of the Elite 11 with spot in the final 11 will be on the line today.
