Positives

  • Incredible offensive and defensive efficiency.  The Bears score 1.37 points per possession on offense and hold KSU to 0.76 points per possession on defense.  Elite!
  • Almost hit the double palindrome/ ambigram whatever it is called.  Baylor had KSU down 83-38 and then had a chance at 94-49 but KSU hit the and one to put them at 50.
  • Davion Mitchell was hotter than a firecracker.  Incredible 3 point marksmanship.
  • Great to see Matt Mayer and MaCio Teague break out of 3 point slumps.
  • Incredible interior passing by MaCio Teague
  • Mark Vital’s defense, energy and interior play
  • Flo & Jon were bringing the heat tonight.  Bears outrebound KSU 41-23 but particularly impressive was the Bears defensive rebounding percentage of 85% of all missed shots.  Big improvement from the OSU game.
  • Now #1 in KenPom, the Bears keep getting better.

Needs Work

  • FT shooting defense (75%)
  • Sent KSU to the free throw line 24 times- Baylor only attempted 11 free throws.
  • End of the first half offense- wow it has been bad for such an elite team.
