Recruiting Notes: Tight end continues to be a focus in the 2022 class

Baylor offered Red Oak (TX) High School tight end Kelsey Johnson‍ on Friday after staying in contact with him since October.

“I love it!”, he said. “(Joey) McGuire called, he told me how pumped they are about me and even though some more schools are going to be talking to me they are willing to compete with anybody.”

Along with Joey McGuire, Johnson has heard from Baylor new offensive coordinator and tight ends coach Jeff Grimes.
