Kansas City Blues: Baylor melts down late, falls to Oklahoma State in Big 12 semifinals

KANSAS CITY — Forget the rah-rah speeches, the “everything-will-be-just-fine” pats on the back.

Baylor’s quest for its first ever Big 12 tournament title was halted Friday with an 83-74 loss to Oklahoma State, and forward Mark Vital said he hopes it hurts. Or rather, it needs to hurt if the Bears have any hopes of a successful run in the upcoming NCAA tournament.
