• It only took a little over three months for the national folks to figure out what the Baylor coaching staff loved so much about quarterback Zach Pyron‍. At the Elite 11 regionals over the the weekend, Pyron’s name was constantly used in the same sentence as Alabama commit and highly regarded four-star quarterback Ty Simpson‍. Pyron wasn’t awarded a spot in the Elite 11 finals on the spot, but an invite could be coming soon.

Shawn Bell said it.
I believe it.
That settles it.

Shawn earned Baylor's last victory over the despised Aggies, and he gave his all for BU.
Wasn't the fastest QB we had, but he never mailed it in.
I respect the dude.

Or was it RG3 who beat them last.

I don't believe RG III ever played against A&M.
They had already left the Big 12 when he started at QB.

Check me out, but it was under Guy Morriss, when the Bears went for 2 and won it 15-14.
Somebody please confirm.

RG3 beat them in 2008. It was a great game.

Jesus Christ..... A&M left in 2012, Shawn beat them 35-34, and RG3 did it last. You need to do more task to stimulate brain activation. I recommend a cross word, word search, memory with cards.

That was an awesome game. Rg3 before his first injury and at the end of that year was so electric on the ground and I've never seen anything quite like it before or since. That game felt like we could have won it by 70 and they literally could not stop him any time he decided to run. Only thing I've ever seen like it was Vince young at his best but rg3 was pure speed and agility, Vince speed mixed with power.

When rg3 came back he had a hobble and brace his first season and even in his second, heisman season I never felt like he was quite as electric as that first year and this aggie game was the apex of his powers on the ground. Of course his heisman year he was a complete quarterback and the team around him was better.

Full disclosure: I had hip replacement surgery on May 5 in Odessa.
Have been on some powerful pain meds (opioids) since coming home.
Felt well enough to have a beer, then got onto SicEm365.
Mixing a beer and oxytocin's, then trying to post online is like striking a match to see if you spilled any gasoline.

My hip is better, but I'll refrain from more posts until I'm off the meds and fully re-habed.
(Insert any jokes here.)
