The defense has been good all season but there have been a few lapses down the stretch of the season.  The Bears gave up 1.2 points per possession against Texas Tech (1.22); Iowa State (1.33); and Kansas State (1.19).  The Bears are not good enough offensively this year to win games where they give up that many points per possession.
