In the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Baylor women’s basketball program, the No. 17 Bears (3-1) took down Texas A&M Corpus Christi (3-1), 65-42, Sunday afternoon at Foster Pavilion.

No. 17 Baylor (2-1) to continue its non-conference slate with a matchup against the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders (3-0). Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT at Foster Pavilion, and the game will be streamed on ESPN+.

In the victory, BU’s offense hit for a season-high 18 base knocks. Eight of the nine Baylor starters picked up at least one hit, and seven Bears had multi-hit games.

No. 5 Baylor Volleyball (19-10) started the NCAA Tournament with a win in straight sets against Texas A&M Corpus Christi (21-5) despite a sluggish start.  The Bears lacked energy at the start head coach Ryan McGuyre admitted after the game.
