Last Saturday marked Baylor football’s first scrimmage of fall camp as the Bears inch closer to the highly anticipated season-opener against Auburn on Friday, Aug. 29, at McLane Stadium, and the excitement was palpable amongst the players.

Throughout the bye week, Aranda’s message to the team was that they still controlled their own destiny and could reach six wins and a bowl game despite the sluggish 2-4 start to the year.
