What would you do as a replacement? Still want local news and sports channels like ESPN and FS1. Someone recommended YouTube TV. Don't watch any network shows.

Thanks for any help.

Yes YoutubeTV. You need separate internet of course but YTTV is the answer. I access mine through AppleTV boxes connected to my tele's.

Internet is $50/mo
YTTV is $70/mo and includes locals and unlimited DVR

I already have good internet service apart from Dish. Can I just connect to YTTV through that or do I need some other service too?

All you need is a smart tv or a roku/firestick to access youtube tv.

I have YouTubeTV and I am pretty satisfied. Prices are consistant with those listed above. I connect through a Roku adapter.

When I had cable, the price seemed to start out about $100/month and would go up to near $150 as time progressed. Youtube TV has been consistant for the last year at about $70/month plus I can add family to the subscription. My son and daughter live in different places but they can use my subscription under the family plan. I can also download YouTubeTV to my smart phone and watch shows on my phone.

yes then you are good there. as stated above you just need some way to access it. So check if your tv is "smart" - has the ability to download apps etc. If not, connect a streaming device to your tv like appletv, roku, googletv or firestick. Then you can download apps on those.
