An idea popped into my head today, and I want to throw it out for discussion.

It's a three-parter, actually:

1. If someone asked your parents, would they say you are a success?

2. Would most of your acquaintances and friends say you are a success?

3. Do you personally believe you are a success?

Being successful in life is about enjoying your family, your blessings, being able to pay your own way, and not worrying about what other people think of you.

If one goes through life ALWAYS envious of those that have more, you will never find happiness.

Thanks RD2. one reason I asked those questions, is that I am not too sure myself of the answers I would give.

I believe my parents would be pleased that I earned two degrees, because they believed that education was integral to success in Life. But I don't know how well they would agree with some of my career choices, or how I raised my children.

I also believe we each have certain things we were meant to do and accomplish. I don't want to be like that servant in Scripture who buried his talent, ya know?
