Very sad. He brought joy to a lot of people. The mark of a wonderful life. My wife and I made the annual pilgrimage to his concert in Texas for several years until his tour here I believe in 21.

Haven't' seen him in concert since the 70's. Eagles/Jimmy Buffet - Tampa Stadium. So much pot the cops gave up...


He was a hero of mine. He was who he was and turned it into a lifestyle and turn billion dollar business. He was a huge supporter of the Florida environment.

RIP Jimmy Buffet. The oldest surfer on the beach is gone... (One of my favorite songs of his).

Loved his music...and he did too...and it showed..probably a big reason he was/is loved by so many...RIP

Years ago I heard a story about a group of Cuban refugees on a raft that washed ashore at Jimmy's home. Imagine landing in America and seeing Jimmy Buffett heading down to the beach with a tray of margaritas.

Bubbles Up is a great song. Written recently and just released this past Friday, it is taken as final message to Parrot Heads. Paul McCartney, who I did not know was close friends with JB and his wife, called it the best song Jimmy ever wrote.

He was a great marketer after being an above average song writer. Timing is everything in music. Some of you will get it.
