I think these books have been shared up here before and the posts deleted. I'm not sure why, but I am wondering if anyone knows about the self-published author Lane Alpert who has put out 2 books about the Baylor sex assault scandals - Scapegoat and Bear Trap.

Who is Alpert? How did he get his information?

Yep, I found that too.

Honestly what I would love is to just get some kind of basic account of the way the research was done for this "historical fiction." I find myself trying to explain the book to other Baylor alums, family etc., and they are critical. Not many have spent time thinking through or researching those details beyond what they heard in the news at the time, so they don't know what to make of an alternate account.
