We just discovered it late last week. It is fairly new. Only 2 seasons have been released thus far.
They released S2 on 8/31/18, S1 was released 7/21/17 (they renewed for S2 on 8/15/17).PartyBear said:
What time of year do they release a season for this one?
Ozarks usually refers to the plateau and not the Mountains. The plateau reaches well up into MO almost to St. Louis. Lake of the Ozarks (Setting of the show) is well into Central MO. Most people think around the Boston Mountains ending in the North at Branson, so it is a common perception that the Ozarks is Arkansas.PartyBear said:
For some reason I neglected in my OP to mention that it is very good and I highly recommend it. If you liked Breaking Bad and that general type of story with all sorts of plot twists, then I think you will agree with me. That was actually supposed to be the point of the OP. LOL.
The only thing about this. I watched almost the whole first season assuming this was taking place in a fictional tiny town in the Ozarks of Arkansas, not Missouri. I admit I started in at episode 3 however of Season 1. It may have been explained in an episode I missed.
Its very good! I agree on Justin Batemen. He is very good in this. I think of him as being in those goofy teen type things from the 80s and hadnt seen him in anything until now. He does a very good job in this drama. Playing basically a good guy who is stuck with really bad decisions he is made and all torn now. The young actress who plays Ruth just steals the show. She is extremely good!tommie said:

I like Jason Bateman and Laura Linney. She was great in a lot of things, but I really liked The Big C. Bateman is just so real. He doesn't try too hard and to me. Comes off as very believable in his roles.
