We just discovered it late last week. It is fairly new. Only 2 seasons have been released thus far.

Yep. Was a long wait for S2 for me. Now what do I do?

What time of year do they release a season for this one?

My wife loves it. I missed a lot of the first season and am playing catch up.

The first season was so well done. Outstanding writing and acting on all parts. To me, this was one of the best shows that Netflix has done.

I finished that the second season a week ago. It was good, but I didn't think as good as the first.

I look forward to the third season.

For some reason I neglected in my OP to mention that it is very good and I highly recommend it. If you liked Breaking Bad and that general type of story with all sorts of plot twists, then I think you will agree with me. That was actually supposed to be the point of the OP. LOL.

The only thing about this. I watched almost the whole first season assuming this was taking place in a fictional tiny town in the Ozarks of Arkansas, not Missouri. I admit I started in at episode 3 however of Season 1. It may have been explained in an episode I missed.

Ozarks usually refers to the plateau and not the Mountains. The plateau reaches well up into MO almost to St. Louis. Lake of the Ozarks (Setting of the show) is well into Central MO. Most people think around the Boston Mountains ending in the North at Branson, so it is a common perception that the Ozarks is Arkansas.

Anyway, there is a long thread on what we are watching. Many have been watching this series and awaiting the S2 drop. I have Amazon Prime and have only seen a few episodes of this Netflix series. It looks good and a little too real life for me.

They shoot it in Georgia anyway.

I like Jason Bateman and Laura Linney. She was great in a lot of things, but I really liked The Big C. Bateman is just so real. He doesn't try too hard and to me. Comes off as very believable in his roles.

The change in Laura Linney's character from the first season to present is similar to the journey of Walter White. It was shock/disbelief to acceptance to complicity to leadership.
My pronouns are Deez/Dem.

Its very good! I agree on Justin Batemen. He is very good in this. I think of him as being in those goofy teen type things from the 80s and hadnt seen him in anything until now. He does a very good job in this drama. Playing basically a good guy who is stuck with really bad decisions he is made and all torn now. The young actress who plays Ruth just steals the show. She is extremely good!
