Writing it now. Interviewing Larry Lavine today who bought the place in late 69 - later better known as the founder of Chili's

Thanks for posting - I graduated from Garland High in 1968, but I never heard of Louann's. I do remember the empty field where they built Northpark.

I passed all three chapters on to a buddy who has picked guitars all over Dallas. He actually had his shoes vomited on by Jimmy Reed at Louann's. That's what he got for sitting on the front row in front of Jimmy and Mama Reed. I told my friend he should be honored. He said Jimmy didn't even skip a beat.

She is the daughter of Ann and Lou, sent me probably 20 photos no one has ever seen
