Went to see Need To Breathe last night. Loved the show. They are great live. BUT. Their opening act was Lone Bellow. I had never heard them prior to last night. Was very impressed. Here is a sample.

It was 20 years ago today that my dad and I returned from the Baylor - Michigan game. Meeting family at a restaurant in Arlington, my son's met me by saying "Dad, have you heard about Rich Mullins? He was killed in a car wreck!"
His date of death is recorded as 9/19/97 (Friday).... not sure what all happened on Saturday, but the event became public / hit the news on that Sunday.
Rich is still one of my favorite Christian artist. His lyrics and songs are so powerful, filled with truth.
Here is just one of his songs and Rich has a little "devotional" before the song.... certainly worth the 7 minutes!
