What are the best spots for swimming /lake fun around Waco? i don't have a boat and am just coming up for a day trip. never have actually been to Lake Waco

This may be too late but speegleville park sounds like where you need to go.
Also there are a few places you can rent a boat or jet ski from if that is what you want.
