Seriously where would they turn for a HC this late in the year? Getting rid of your HC is about the same equivalent in the calendar as when we did it in 16.

I read that the AD said it was done, but I didn't see where he had signed it. I hope that you are correct.

What is he accused of doing?
The second post answers that question.
Source: Auburn AD Allen Greene met with seven or eight veteran players this evening to address the uncertainty around Bryan Harsin’s future. He delivered a simple message — stay the course and control what you can control, as there’s no clarity. Team operating as normal.

The last president and AD were disasters. And also had an affiliation with Iowa State.
Also, Auburn is broke.

Coach O might be in that competition too
Stranger has talent. As a former editor and janitor of The Rope and Gong Show champion he could easily rest on his laurels, knowing he has already accomplished what most men only dream of doing. Instead he is out there doing whatever it is he is doing and getting paid handsomely for doing whatever it is he is doing.Wineguy89 said:Stranger said:Stefano DiMera said:

Rumor was that it was one of two things: Davis either didn't realize how much he'd have to recruit in the SEC West - a rationale I highly doubt, or that he'd been caught with cocaine.Stefano DiMera said:
Aside from the side chick rumors.. questions I still have..why did OC Austin Davis quit after a couple weeks on the job? Greg McElroy tweeted that he was 'unfit for the job' and would have been fired.
And why would Derek Mason make a lateral move at best to leave Auburn to be DC at Oklahoma State?

Should Auburn and Bryan Harsin split, and the school goes interim route, a temporary fix to consider: Gene Chizik.

- Handled 2010 controversy
- Understands the Auburn culture
- Will help recruiting in short term
Even so, told AU will try for new hire despite odd timing.
You guys act like Aranda is working on a handshake deal currently. I don't remember how many years his original contract was for, but I'd imagine it's still got at least three more years on it.Russell Gym said:PartyBear said:

I know of a hot commodity coach with a squeaky clean reputation coming off of a P5 title and NY6 victory … he hasn't signed his new contract yet.
It's not just him. There have been multiple threads and numerous posts in unrelated threads on the topic. It's exhausting.PartyBear said:
I think he clarified a little later that he was joking around.
