Nah it was June or late May when Briles was let go.

This is actually the normal time period (after NFL season) until early signing day became a thing.

The last president and AD were disasters. And also had an affiliation with Iowa State.

Also, Auburn is broke.

In reading both the articles from the Auburn site and ESPN, I'm not seeing where the gal figured into any of the mess he's in. Rather it seems there were players who left because they weren't coddled or taught how to be responsible adults. There was significant feedback from past and current players that would go to hell and back for him because I suppose they got the fact he was trying to develop a winning program. As for the coaches coming and going, it may be the fact this coach isn't as personable as they expected and that may be a shortcoming of his. Without specifics, just grab the popcorn and see what happens.

If she's a side chick, you know ESPN would have lit into that like a Roman Candle. But no mention in what I read.

Rhoades said it was and has said numerous times that Aranda is here to stay for awhile.

And Aranda is building this program to his vision with all the personnel shifts and changes and new hires, there is no sign at all he is leaving to go somewhere like Auburn.

Rumor was that it was one of two things: Davis either didn't realize how much he'd have to recruit in the SEC West - a rationale I highly doubt, or that he'd been caught with cocaine.

You guys act like Aranda is working on a handshake deal currently. I don't remember how many years his original contract was for, but I'd imagine it's still got at least three more years on it.

Aranda said he wants to stay (and showed it by passing on all other opportunities this offseason). Rhoades has said Baylor will take care of him. All the angst on this board surrounding this topic is silly.

I think he clarified a little later that he was joking around.
