Tony is tagged, so if he accepts it you have Tony for one more year. I think the only way Tony is gone is if we ended up drafting Bijon Robinson in the first round...even then I can see them keeping the tag on Tony.

It's all good my man. I am torn because Tony is more than just a RB but at the same time I would like to use his money towards a legit WR2 and go cheap at RB.

I can't think of many teams that had a shtty RB that won a ton. If Dak isn't getting better at distributing the football, why wouldn't we just have him hand it to a good player?

Name the last Super Bowl winner with a top line featured back? That isn't today's game. Better to give Dak a west coast system with short and medium passes with WRs who can get YAC and use a first contract RB as a change up than pay a RB as a feature back.

That's just the bellicheat model. I don't want Dak throwing the ball 40 times a game cause we don't have a back that can avg more than 3ypc.

None of their RBs were scrubs, KC got EXTREMELY lucky with Pacheco. Fornette? Sony Michel has two Super Bowl rings.

I just don't know why you don't want the WHOLE offense to be good, it's just baffling.

Now you are dreaming stuff up. I didn't say I want a good running game but you don't need Derrick Henry to get that in today's game. As for the backs you mentioned, all of them were platooned backs, not like Henry or Zeke, so you are actually making my point.

I want the whole offense to be good, and for that to happen, you need RB on the cheap. Draft an RB in the 3-6th every 2 years and you never have to pay an ignorant amount of money for a position that is no longer a focal point.

It's like going to the gym and skipping calves, you might have big arms but people notice that sht and it looks whack.

Brady had fkn Randy Moss and got his ass beat by the 9-7 Giants, because they had Brandon Jacobs knocking their line backwards.

Absolutely no reason to skimp on that position.

Define skimp?

I am saying you don't need to pay a RB $10M+ on a second contract when you can draft guys who are fresher and less expensive.

By the way your boy Fournett is getting $7M

I'm back! Good days and bad...

who have we lost in FA?

I see we signed a stud CB n Gilmore. PRobably moves into the #2 slot right off the bat. And Brandin Cook at WR? huge upgrade opposite CD

Who else have we lost? Did I see Kellen Moore is gone? Zeke too? (not unexpected, still has talent but too much money that can be used elsewhere)

where does that put us in what we want iin the draft?

I don't think we will miss Schultz at all. I really like Ferguson and really really like Hendershot. Right now it's Pollard on the tag and Ronald Jones as his backup. Not bad but I suspect we draft a back.

Noah also was a damn good blocker and special teams contributor. He probably has more opportunity for playing time in Houston so can't blame him for moving on.

True dat. Good downfield blocker and ST. However hose can be replaced more easily than a WR thst contributes only occasionally.

Winning by cheating is just as impressive as winning fairly, probably even more so. Your opponent was better than you in every way, and you beat them with your brain.

It's wild just how bad they've been. In the last 30 seasons they've made the playoffs just 7 times, made the AFC champ game 3 times (once with Parcels and Testaverde, twice with Ryan and Sanchez(***?)) and haven't made playoffs since 2010.

But they had the ORoY and DRoY last season and Saleh seems to be getting a lot out of them.
