To no one's surprise...
Very sad, no Tony no Zeke.
Tony is tagged, so if he accepts it you have Tony for one more year. I think the only way Tony is gone is if we ended up drafting Bijon Robinson in the first round...even then I can see them keeping the tag on Tony.
I edited it, my bad
It's all good my man. I am torn because Tony is more than just a RB but at the same time I would like to use his money towards a legit WR2 and go cheap at RB.
I can't think of many teams that had a shtty RB that won a ton. If Dak isn't getting better at distributing the football, why wouldn't we just have him hand it to a good player?
Name the last Super Bowl winner with a top line featured back? That isn't today's game. Better to give Dak a west coast system with short and medium passes with WRs who can get YAC and use a first contract RB as a change up than pay a RB as a feature back.
That's just the bellicheat model. I don't want Dak throwing the ball 40 times a game cause we don't have a back that can avg more than 3ypc.
Kansas City
Tampa
Philly
Rams
Where is Belichick or the featured RB?
None of their RBs were scrubs, KC got EXTREMELY lucky with Pacheco. Fornette? Sony Michel has two Super Bowl rings.
I just don't know why you don't want the WHOLE offense to be good, it's just baffling.
Now you are dreaming stuff up. I didn't say I want a good running game but you don't need Derrick Henry to get that in today's game. As for the backs you mentioned, all of them were platooned backs, not like Henry or Zeke, so you are actually making my point.
It's like going to the gym and skipping calves, you might have big arms but people notice that sht and it looks whack.
Brady had fkn Randy Moss and got his ass beat by the 9-7 Giants, because they had Brandon Jacobs knocking their line backwards.
Absolutely no reason to skimp on that position.
