With Rodgers and Carr moving teams, that makes Dak Prescott the longest tenured starting QB with his current team.

Anyone else on who they want in the early rounds? Position? Particular player?
The one that can help us most next season is probably Bijan. although I hear Jaymar Gibbs is running a close second in the RB category and might do the same. Would allow us to let Pollard go next season if we have to. Avila is interesting although I think he is a second rounder.BearkatBear said:
From what I've heard, Bijan, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and Darnell Wright are 3 of the guys we want most, but they'll almost for sure be gone by 26 and I highly doubt we trade up. I've also heard Michael Mayer, Will McDonald, Mazi Smith, Steve Avila, or a trade down. I'd honestly be fine with any of these options.

I didn't see Bijan catch at the combine. Believe it when I see it.
btw - this was the best value. Should knock Greir off the 3Assassin said:

Bijan is a really good receiver. Good enough that you could line him up in the slot.GoldMind said:Assassin said:The one that can help us most next season is probably Bijan. although I hear Jaymar Gibbs is running a close second in the RB category and might do the same. Agree on Avila. I think we could trade back to the top of the 2nd. Houston has the 2nd 2nd rounder and lots of other picks. We could make it workBearkatBear said:I forgot Gibbs, I've heard his name rumored too. I've read that too. wish I could remember what he did in games receiving against us. The only thing I can seem to remember is him swinging out off the backfield and taking one upfieldtrey3216 said:Bijan is a really good receiver. So many projections have Bijan going to the Eagles at 10. That would be horrendous!
btw - what if Darnell Wright, the big OT from Tennessee drops into our laps? He could play OG for a season then got to R OT if Steele is let goBearkatBear said:I forgot Gibbs, I've heard his name rumored too. Eagles are pretty loaded. Since they dont have a premier RB, they may pull the trigger on Bijan. Would be very tough to defense that team.BearForce said:No way he goes that high. 19 to the Bucs is my guess if a QB isn't there.Assassin said:

Per a couple front office execs, the floor for Michael Mayer is believed to the the Cowboys at 26. They have shown a ton of interest and done a ton of work on the tight end. Of course, both told me they aren't totally sure he gets out of the teens. Welcome to this draft!

Surprised they wouldn't try to trade him first before declining his option.

Quote:
"Matt's having a great offseason. He obviously had the surgery, so he's knocking it out of the park there. And Josh, I think, clearly, will work more inside than out. He does a tremendous job in the offseason program, things like that. I'm excited to see those guys play in the preseason. They're ready. We've just got to get them battle-tested. They're making all the progress you look for in his your second- or third-[year] players. They're right on schedule."
