A short week, this week. The coaches actually started looking at Washington late last week, but that is something normal, considering the quick turnaround for the annual Thanksgiving game. McCarthy has altered the practice schedule, as the Cowboys play three games in a 12-day period, moving to walkthroughs for Wednesday practices and cutting some reps out of Thursday's practice.

Mike McCarthy learned the news about Jimmy's induction into the Ring of Honor before the game when Jones and Johnson entered the locker room and chatted with him briefly.

"That was cool,'' McCarthy said. "It was awesome to see those two together. They finished each other's sentences.

"I know Jimmy is very touched by it. I'm very happy for Coach Johnson.''

This was actually from the 17th, but I missed it;

CeeDee Lamb is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Well, his gloves and his towel are.

Lamb became the first player in NFL history with at least 10 receptions and 150 yards receiving in three consecutive games over the weekend. The Hall of Fame announced Friday that the gloves the Cowboys receiver wore and the towel he used in the win over the New York Giants are now on display in its gallery.

Man, I know Jimmy is happy but sheesh…30 years…better late than never I guess
Winning by cheating is just as impressive as winning fairly, probably even more so. Your opponent was better than you in every way, and you beat them with your brain.

I heard rumors that he was offered the Ring more than once before, but turned it down. One thing about Jerry is he knows when to keep things like this out of the public eye.

After being blanked on the stat sheet a week ago against the New York Giants, Parsons amassed six tackles, his second-most in any game in 2023. However, when he brought down rookie quarterback Bryce Young in the fourth quarter, bringing him up to 2.5 sacks on the day (10 for the season), he accomplished something that's never been done in Dallas. Parsons became the first Cowboys defender with 10 or more sacks in each of his first three seasons.

Parsons is just the ninth player since 1982 to accomplish this and the first since Shawne Merriman (2005-2007) when he played for the old San Diego Chargers. Other notable players on the list are Hall of Famers Reggie White and Derrick Thomas, as well as Dwight Freeney and Jevon Kearse, truly elite company.

With seven games left in the 2023 season, Parsons is on pace to shatter the 13.5 sacks he racked up last season. Coming into Week 11, Parsons led the NFL in pass-rush win rate at 34%, and his 91.7 pass-rush grade was fourth. After recording four sacks in the season's first three games, Parsons had a two-game stretch where he didn't bring the quarterback down. However, he's racked up at least one in four of the last five games, totaling six.

Parsons has amassed 36.5 sacks in the first 43 games of his NFL career, and the fact that he has played over 700 snaps at linebacker makes it even more impressive.

At the half, Chiefs 17 Eaglettes 7. Hurts getting sacked or at least hurried on every other play it seems like.

Man, I didn't realize just how ****ty the KC WR corps has gotten. I guess they felt Mahomes could do it all, but he can't catch the ball for them.

Yeah when they lost Hill, Kelce became the only real target.

That last pass of his was too a wide open WR, hit him perfectly in the hands, and he was already in the end zone. Kind of a Jackie Smith end zone drop...

The good news is that this reinforces my view that the Eagles are easily beatable by us this year. We were on the 5 yd line with time left when we self imploded. The ball game was literally in our hands.

Hurts was sacked 5 times, all in the first half. KC DL is not as good as ours

Just watched that special "Bye Bye Barry" about Barry Sanders incredible career. Some of those runs he made at OSU, but moreso as a Detroit Lion were absolutely incredible.

I pick on Dak a lot. He is the QB and he has yet to lead us to the promised land. But with that said, this is pretty impressive:

In the past six weeks, no quarterback has thrown for more touchdowns than Prescott's 14, and he's first with a 308.1 passing yards per game average. Prescott is second in the NFL with 25 plays of 20 or more yards and he tops the league with a 118.7 quarterback rating during this six-week period.

Many critics say Prescott is turnover-prone after leading the NFL in interceptions last season, yet Buffalo's Josh Allen is more apt to lose the ball. Allen leads the NFL with 15 turnovers this season after a league-high 19 last season. Allen also has committed a turnover in his last seven games.

Prescott vowed he wouldn't lead the NFL in interceptions again. After committing 15 last season, he's been picked off only six times through 10 games this season.

Pro Football Focus has Prescott with the No. 1 offensive grade (89.4) ahead of Allen (88.6). When it comes to passing grades, Prescott's 86.0 is third behind Miami's Tua Tagovailoa (89.6) and Allen (86.6).

Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said this is one of the best stretches of Prescott's career since McCarthy took over as coach in 2020. In 2021, Prescott had a six-game stretch during which he completed 73.1% of his passes with 16 passing touchdowns and four interceptions while recording a 115.0 quarterback rating.

Dak gets a bunch of sht cause he's Americas QB. That's really it.

I think it's more because he runs hot and cold. When he's on, he's incredible, but he can be soooo bad... that's the part that worries all the fans. We never know when he will go south. The great QBs have bad days but they have learned how to mitigate those days. Short passes, pop ups, no long routes, quick handoffs, etc
