All the headlines are more about Dallas's loss than Green Bay's win.

Americas Team.
Winning by cheating is just as impressive as winning fairly, probably even more so. Your opponent was better than you in every way, and you beat them with your brain.

Hoping that McCarthy is gone and Mr Jones DOES NOT go with a Bellichk or someone like him. I want a young proven NFL assistant or college coach that will bring tons of energy to the team. We have tons of talent here.

Harbaugh would be a candidate. Bengals DC Lou Anarumo, Lions DC Aaron Glenn, Titans DC Shane Bowen, Panthers OC Thomas Brown, Bengals OC Brian Callahan or Eagles DC Sean Desai. Lots of potential talent out there for Dak's final year in Dallas

How do you reshape this roster with the Dak hit coming?

And I can't see McCarthy surviving this.

Draft a defense that doesn't give up 48 points to a middling team.

They disbanded back in 1952. Even returned their franchise to the NFL

They became the Baltimore Colts, which are today the Indianapolis Colts.

Pollard is probably gone, he will want too much for what I would consider paying him, Although Tyron has been playing excellent when he is healthy, not sure I feel too great about counting on him. I still like Gilmore as a backup. He played reasonably well this season although he did give up a few dingers. Biadizz might be worth a cheap contract. He has Pro Bowl OGs on either side of him and could give us another year or two before we replace him. Dorance is still a badarse. Pay the man. Kearse is confusing, one moment All Star, the next benchwarmer. Hankins seemed to keep Mazi on the bench, not really sure if they are not confident with Mazi or if Hankins is that much better. Gallimore seemed to come on better the second half of the year. Depends on the contract. Fowler, I think so. Edoga never seemed to make the plays I would want for a new contract. Igbinoghene, kinda the same. And Dowdle, ya gotta keep him if you let Pollard go

Just real quick, the 49ers SB drought is longer than ours.

Actually they didn't. When I was working on some Dallas stuff for my Facebook pages, I kept running into things that contradicted that. The franchise was abandoned and returned to the NFL. The NFL awarded the Colts a brand new franchise the next season. Texan players disbursed to multiple teams. However the Colts were allowed to purchase all the equipment and uniforms. Hence the Baltimore blue still of today.

BTW - there was so much mis-information out there that I reached out to the NFL to clarify for my 'Memories of Dallas' Facebook page. The told me that the Texans franchise was returned to the league Nov 14, 1952 and after they couldn't find a buyer for the team, the franchise was cancelled. The NFL had a hole in their calendar where the Texans were originally and awarded a new franchise to the Colts in January of 1953. NFL says that they consider the Colts as a 1953 EXPANSION team; it does not consider the Colts to be a continuation of the Yanks/Bulldogs/Yanks/Texans franchise.

- Nov 12, 1952, NFL Commissioner Bert Bell called a meeting and posted a press release that; the Dallas Texans are guilty of acts detrimental to the NFL for failing to operate and field a team through the 1952 season and therefore the franchise was 'hereby canceled and forfeit'

Interesting. Seems like the Cowboys failed to operate and field a team today.
