Ryan Lengyel is a redshirt freshman offensive lineman from Dallas, Texas. Lengyel will have three years of eligibility remaining past this season and is listed at 6-foot-5, 285 pounds, according to Baylor’s website. While at BU, Lengyel will be majoring in business.
Lengyel redshirted the 2021 season in which the Bears went 12-2 with a Sugar Bowl victory.
In high school, Lengyel starred at Jesuit Dallas and helped his team to a 6-4 record as a senior. He had 41 pancakes and 15 knockdowns on an offense that averaged 45 points and 432.8 yards per game in 2020. His offensive line only allowed 11 total sacks in 10 games. 247 ranked Lengyel as a three-star prospect and was the No. 161 player in Texas and the No. 94 offensive tackle nationally. He committed to BU over Texas to secure Baylor, their third offensive lineman in the 2021 class.
