In this interview, Monaray Baldwin tells Jaden Owens about his expectations for the year, what family means to him, and how he and the other WRs can take the next step this year.

Notes:

  • Monaray feels like the wide receiver room is close, and that can help him be a leader in the room.
  • He likes coach Dallas Baker and appreciates their relationship.
  • Football is Monaray’s main thing. He’s a chill guy who likes to get extra sleep if he has free time.
  • Family is important to him and it's great that they are close.
  • Monaray knows he needs to bring effort and energy every day. he knows he needs to get better at blocking, but he wants to bring great effort in every aspect of his game.
  • He ran track in high school, but “nobody wants to run for fun” he liked winning though.
  • There’s some competition, but he thinks he’s the fastest guy on the team.
  • After the spring, the coaches told Monaray to take better care of his body. Not like he wasn’t but to take that next step.
  • Scoring on special teams is one of the hardest but most rewarding things in his mind.
  • Plus much more!
