Seems like there was a time when Baylor was on this list. Those were horrible days.

Good people here at 365 who grew up in the 60s, 70s and 80s keep trying to convince me Nebraska is still a blue blood, and yet they haven't beaten a ranked team in more than SIX years.

That's one of the inherent definitions or characteristics of a blue blood... they may not have done anything recently but the perceptions persists.

And the timeline is usually determined by those people who grew up in the 60s 70s and 80s like me.

So for me..Nebraska Notre Dame USC and Texas are blue bloods.

Army Colgate and Yale are not.

Has Rutgers ever done anything in any sport? I don't really know anything about Rutgers. Are they college for Jersey shore/Soprano types?

They won a WBB National Championship (Just don't google "Don Imus Rutgers"!!)

This is the Rutgers moment I remember. Erin Andrews was like 25.

Oh yea, I remember that. Something about the texture of the womens hair. I was thinking that was Maryland for some reason.

Nope. They lost to Tennessee for Pat's next to last championship. But they were some nappy-headed &@s….

Maybe Nebraska is no longer blueblood, but rather now has blue balls.
