Congratulations to Kansas State. They had a very good defense. Their coaching staff had them ready to play on both sides of the ball.

Terrible performance by The Bears however.

Only 103 yards total rushing ? Are you kidding me? At home?

Embarrassing!

What happened to our experienced O Line?

Where was our passing game?

What is going on? Is there any chance to salvage another win this season?

They might consider practicing

Can you see: key players entering the portal, commitments being taken back and potential commitments say adios no way Jose. That's what that performance on Saturday has/will cost us

I seriously doubt many commits are going to leave because of one bad game. If recruits/commits leave because of one bad game, every team in Big 12 except TCU will lose people.

I'll admit I was at a church retreat and didn't watch the game, but I'm wondering if we are starting to see what happened in the latter half of last year when defenses realized that the quarterback can't pass and sold out for the run

On the contrary, having untalented players can actually be a recruiting draw. i.e. early playing time. As always, the coaches have to sell that vision

The rushing statistics are somewhat skewed compared to our other games because most of the second half we gave up the run in an attempt to get quicker points via passing. KSU only had 100 yards more total offense than us based on the stats I saw. Problem was that as soon as we got anywhere near the red zone they shut us down. Our yards were in the middle of the field.

We had better have better passing this week. I didn't watch much of the game, but in the second half, I saw TCU have all 11 defenders against Texas within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage many times. They basically shut Robinson down.

Credit to KSU indeed. Klein seemed to know what our defense was doing. Granted we ran a corner blitz so much it was pretty easy for Howard to just sling it right to where the corner had been.

I predict we rebound and give TCU a fight. If Grimes is watching film on how they shut down Texas he should get some early scripted and successful plays to get them to back off. Get Baldwin and whoever else can fly 1v1 and take shots early and often. Nothing to lose.

And corner blitz a bit less perhaps… but d-Line will have to step up and have a great day to disrupt their big play potential.

QB can pass just fine, but he's suffering a confidence crisis. WRs are not helping much. They stayed mostly covered all night.

At some point you have to consider that the talent just isn't there.

These recruits don't have the size, speed or skill to be great and development can only do so much.
