No one is cheering harder for TCU then ESPN and Fox. They have a lot of money invested here and with OUT going away they need the remaining to prove their mettle.

Let's go Frogs.

UGA is hard to figure. They destroyed Oregon and South Carolina very early in the season when neither opponent was playing well.

They played awfully close against lessor SEC competition.

They handled Tennessee well and destroyed LSU.

Frogs will have their challenge but I think they win.

Going to need a better offensive game than against M. They can't depend on defensive scores to win against UGA.

Georgia played awfully close against Missouri. They rolled Vanderbilt, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, Auburn, Mississippi State and LSU.

They beat Kentucky 16-6. Kentucky scored late in the game. They played in a wind chill factor of 18-25 with 15-25 MPH winds. Neither offense did much.

If TCU plays close it's a win. Actually winning would be a bonus.

The spread is where it's at for a reason. Georgia is the better team. Never been that impressed with Michigan, I think they caught Ohio State on an off day, and the rest of the Big Ten except for Ohio State is just so far behind them talent wise.

What's hard to figure out? When locked in they roll. They are flawed on D this year which is strange considering the back log of talent but they just played a very good team.. one that felt disrespected. Also happens to be one of the only other two teams with overall talent to compete with Uga.

Bama, OSU, and Uga are on a completely different level than everyone else as far as talent. Tcu could hang.. anything is possible. But make no mistake it would be one of the most unlikely big game upsets in cfb history

It's a rivalry game which changes the dynamic. But Ohio st is more talented than Michigan and could hang in with a focused Bama and Uga.. Michigan probably couldn't.

The Big10 is 2 teams. Michigan was not battle tested. TCU was. Georgia is battle tested and better in the trenches than any team TCU has faced. UGA annihilated Tennessee's vaunted receiving corps. Hyatt was a complete non factor(Biletnikoff winner). Hyatt is also like 170 pounds so Johnson may be able to beat bump and run coverage a little more consistently.

The X factor is Duggan's legs vs the UGA defense. Stroud made play after play against UGA with his legs. If UGA struggles to stop unscripted quarterback runs then this will be a game. If they adjust and contain it then it'll probably be a bit of a snooze fest.

As mentioned above TCU can't bank on defensive points. They'll probably bleed some yards on the ground but bow up in the red zone and force field goals. Shut down Brock Bowers and the backs in the passing game. Stick Hodges-Tomlinson on McConkey and erase him.

If I'm UGA I'm forcing Duggan to throw inside the pocket. Contain with the ends and try to send pressure from the middle with Jalen Carter and the occasional blitzing. Feed Bowers and get some early QB run plays with Stetson to force the defense to respect it all night.

Michigan physically manhandled Ohio State last year and dominated them in Columbus this fall. I think the Wolverines deserve more credit than many are giving them. And by extension, so does TCU for the job it just did against the Michigan running game.

I think Duggan's the X-factor, which isn't saying much because that's true most games. Unlike Stroud, who is primarily a pocket passer, Duggan's an elite runner who can quickly turn nothing into something. With the weapons they have at running back and receiver (I hope Kendre Miller returns), that makes the Frogs very difficult to defend for 60 minutes.

I think Georgia is better, and I think Georgia will win. But I stopped underestimating this TCU team a long time ago. When you win 13 games against the schedule they've played, you're a pretty damn good football team.

People tend to forget that Michigan isn't the only team to have great success running on Ohio St. They're just the only team to slow down the buckeyes offense.

I know. A little lame picking the QB as the factor but Stroud did serious damage on the ground and that's not his forte. Maybe it caught UGA off guard, but they didn't adjust their pressure. If they struggle containing Duggan it'll be some easy points for toad.

I heard them say during the TCU game that the trophy for the Fiesta Bowl was valued at $1.2 million. Let that sink in if we think things are out of control in today's football world.

FWIW, the team takes home a replica.

I can't stand the SEC but I can't pull for TCU. I could have easily rooted for Ohio St or Michigan.

I think TCU's already won, in many ways. Actually winning the game would just be a bonus.

They really dominated the second half and mauled them. We won the physical battle against tcu.. then got mauled against kstate.

The big 12 champ that Tcu went life and death with twice (should have lost first game had their back up qb not gone down) got run off the field by Bama. Matchups matter. Motivation matters.

Bc K State got destroyed and is clearly basically at the exact same level as tcu doesn't mean I'm going to project tcu gets pummeled.

But none of that changes the fact Ohio St is the only team near Ga and Bama talent wise and Uga doesn't match up great with them.

On the flip, we've won the conf multiple times and won the sugar bowl and what do we have to show for it? Feels Like we're worse than 2016 now

Tulane just added some more inspiration for TCU. LETS get this upheaval done.

Yep....USC was in the CFP conversation late in the season. Love seeing the blue bloods upset.

Well, we do have some great trophies. Conference titles and bowl victories do look good. I doubt one form year is going to have a huge lasting impact. Every team has them. Look where TCU was last year. Not in a bowl game.

TCU was 7-6 in '18, 5-7 in '19, 6-4 in '20, and 5-7 in '21, then Dykes comes in and in his first year plus a few transfers, they're 13-1. Better Offense, better Coach.

So tcu has won as many games as baylor the last 2 years

Dykes having success patterson never experienced is killing him and that…is nice

Georgia is better. TCU wins 5 of 100 games, we are hoping for one of the 5. No one thought Villanova would beat Georgetown. It happens.

Good situation has happened - B12 got in the playoff
Better situation has happened - B12 gets in the Championship Game
Best situation - Would be B12 joining the SEC and B10 as NC winners in the Playoff era.

The "best situation" should be obvious but some people cannot see it because of emotions.

Great points on "good" and "better" analysis, but no way do I want TCU to win. I'm hoping the college football world will conclude that two out of three ain't bad.
