In general, they don't. But they were better prepared, were loose, and played with a lot of energy and passion. And Texas State has some real talent at a few positions.

They were an G5 Colorado in the sense that they added 39 transfers in the off-season and brought in over 50 players overall. Transfers came from programs like OU (multiple), Baylor, Auburn, Colorado (multiple), SMU (multiple), Arkansas, Houston, Cincinnati, KSU, ASU, WVU (multiple), ISU, Duke, Oklahoma State, Boise State, Missouri, Northwestern, and Washington State (among others).

Their OL was bigger and stronger than ours

Players mimic their coaches. This coaching staff is just collecting a paycheck and going through the motions of trying to "build culture", whatever that means. Other teams are actually trying to win. You see, Baylor is broke, and the coaches know it. All of our money is tied up in that Fudge center and the new basketball pavilion. Mack is also buddies with Dave. His seat is cool as ice, and Dave and the rest of the coaches know it

The honest truth is that on top of poor coaching and schemes, there is a lot of dead weight on this team in terms of talent. We desperately need a more businesslike coach like a Deion Sanders to come in and tell it like it is. IE, If you're not an asset, you're getting cut. But remember, winning is not the top priority, it's inspiring young men and building culture.

They played like they didn't have anything to lose (and they didn't going into the game).

I agree they pretty much beat us in every phase of the game. I'd like to think they are a lot better than people thought. I guess we shall see.

Doesn't matter what he makes. What matters is he knows that if he continues to make his team better he'll eventually make more.

But if you're interested his salary is $800k.

Texas State has some dogs, we've got some puppies. Except our #17!!!! He was determined to catch the ball every play he got in, when he got in….offensive play calling was for the birds.
