I understand he made mistakes. But how did he become the most evil man in America?

I firmly believe Briles earned his pink slip from Baylor. But enough is enough. And furthermore, it's not like OU has any moral high ground to stand on with their recent history.

They still remember Art abusing them on the field in 2014. Also RG3's Heisman game with the T Will catch and I think Kendall Wright's immaculate deflection.

Brought back traumatic memories for OU fans of years of abuse.

OU has never really been a place that has set boundaries. They have been the place that is a win at all costs place. From the Switzer era, to the dealership that let players test drive cars for years, to the Joe Mixon punch. Now, I believe that CAB didn't do anything wrong and has been treated badly by both Baylor and the media (some of which wanted UT to be a higher level, ESPN and Texas Monthly). So, if OU hired CAB then I don't see anything wrong with that other than we should be rehiring him.

This was all about getting some valuable exposure on the National stage.

Puts on a red, OU long sleeve. Gets on the field. Knows it will be controversial garnering attention. Coaches HATE distractions and if those kids recognized him that is what it was…..a distraction.

It reminds me of the current trend of former celebrities trying so hard to get some free publicity. There is no other reason for a Kardashian, Tom Brady's former wife (can't recall her name), Heidi Klum, Salma Hyak, etc. to trip over each other trying to get a pic online or in the papers.

It's pathetic that the media has made this guy out to be as bad as Jerry Sandusky considering he has been exonerated by Baylor AND the NCAA after years of investigations into the "rapes" on campus. The only credible case was Tevin Elliott and he was swiftly dealt with as soon as allegations were made. Sam U and Oakman were both found not guilty in trial and the other cases were unsubstantiated. Briles kicked off two of our best WRs for marijuana and yet rape is okay? The whole thing was a complete character assassination and the media and the masses had no interest in the truth. They just went along with the narrative that Briles was the biggest, willingest rape enabler in the history of sports. Joe Paterno didn't even get it this bad.

This post is under-appreciated.

B.D.S., or Briles Derangement Syndrome is palpable.

Art was guilty of, and paid the penalty for, beating OU and UT. That's a crime that'll get you banished in the coaching profession for n these parts.

I haven't been a Lebby fan but his response was 100% dead on. Well done.
