Funny enough, Dave fired the old defensive coordinator for chewing players out for poor performance, getting mad, cussing etc and creating negative energy in the locker room. Phil Bennett would be gone in a heartbeat. I still remember some of the dressings down he gave players on the sidelines

You need a developer with head coaching experience. I would look at Jeff Taylor or Willie Fritz. Personnel, staff etc are the head coach responsibility and I don't see Dave getting past this. Need a different strength guy as well. We do nothing remarkable.

I followed the pay board for quite a while going back to 247. The owners and staff in that group always have a way to try to get ahead of the narrative, so to speak. And they have several goons that will shout out any sort of negativity about the program or anything that goes against the company line.

Coaching sucks. Strength and conditioning may or may not suck. I think the bottom line is we have inferior talent. Piss poor recruiting. People like Grayson greunhefer who think our recruiting is on par with tcu are delusional.
