Talent disparity results from coaching disparity.

If we want to stick with the person over player strategy, that's fine, but we need to accept our offer to the Sunbelt and spend a lot less money on the football program.

If you can't see the talent disparity between Robertson and Martinez (and maybe Shapen), it's hard to have a conversation.

When the ball comes out like that, it fixes your line problem, it opens up the run game and it improves your defense.

He should start. We have totally jacked up the QB evaluations.

Baylor is back!….at the bottom fighting Kansas for last place.

Like Aranda as a person & coordinator, not a head coach.

Jeff Traylor, Mike Elko, Dave Doeren, Willie Fritz are my votes. Coordinators can be out there and maybe worth a shot, but this school needs a head coach with experience.

Our fan base and players have no life or passion. Look at at Ryan Day's post game interview over ND…I almost forgot what fire looks like.

Also, Notre Dame's green & gold uniforms are sick. Can we have some fun? Or are we being conservative and boring? The school just spent a lot of money on athletic facilities…soo…probably boring and conservative.

Oh well…time to focus on the Cowboys this year.

A national broadcast crew literally called out our coaching staff for lack of motivation. I don't know that I've ever heard that before. And why did they do it? Because it was so obvious to them.

If that doesn't wake up Rhoades and Livingstone, nothing will.

Listen to Ohio State coach talk after their win over Notre Dame. Defended his team against Lou Holtze saying they were soft. Dave, watch that interview and learn how to inspire your bunch of "person over player" boys.

How is it that every OL recruit over the past 3-4 years has been a bust? It's not a good look for the offensive staff, and frankly, I am unimpressed by the commits they have so far for the upcoming class.

I'd trade program trajectory with KU in a heartbeat.

Except Kansas is 4-0, has a real coach, and looked damn good today beating BYU. I expect them to give Texas fits next week, they always seem to.

Wrong. This is the most considerable talent disparity between the two teams since Steele's last season.

No matter who he was throwing against, Martinez has better arm talent than Robertson.

We are definitely back in the Steele era… coaches, lack of talented players, apathy, not one positive or hope to hang onto. It is truly depressing and just breaks one's spirit. God, yuck!!!!!

He just knows how to play QB. Sawyer has a better arm but Martinez passed for a million yards in HS and Northern Arizona and took as many snaps. He is not great but he has the it/feel for the game that Sawyer and Shapen do not have

To make matters worse, a fat Mexican broad is singing "Alone" by Heart and some tone deaf goof is butchering Billy Joel at the karaoke that immediately occurred as soon as the game ended at the bar I am at. F uck this evening.

The football gods are punishing Baylor. Not backing Briles. Benching our starting championship qb who was a great team leader for Shapen.

NIL. Lots of KU players making half million or more. They have a nice collective. Baylor?

Good. I couldn't watch the game but figured we'd be lectured about Aranda being the right guy who just needs more time.

These are the coaches that ran off a 12-1 (basically) QB1 for someone that might be marginally better but likely not.

Thats in fkn sane

Baylor seems to have something against the color black

Unfortunately, now that we have had some time to assess Coach Aranda's time in the position there are definitive concerns over the hiring decisions, talent assessment, and lack of talent development.
1- Neither Fedora nor Grimes as OC has worked out.
2- Strength and development particularly on the lines is the worst it has been in 15 years.
3- Instability with the defensive coordinator is evident. I was really surprised to hear Smoaky say in a broadcast before the year that Powledge had never called a defense professionally in his career. That was extremely concerning. The turnover on this staff in Aranda's short tenure for negative reasons seems to have had a significant impact.
4- The regression of the offensive line is surprising and is clearly the weakest unit of this team, literally and figuratively.
5- It's time to let the younger players get more time and sit the underperforming upperclassmen.

Yeah, it goes against the clean cut all American 1960s vibe that the administration has been pushing for the last several years

Perhaps he does with a healthy ankle, but to me it appears Martinez has a little extra velocity, quicker release. Not that I think the outcome would be any better.

Yes, perhaps the issue is talent evaluation. BU can't seem to evaluate the qb talent on its roster, much less when recruiting the whole state.

My guess is he truly lost the team when he let GB go. Either that or Joey was the straw that stirred the drink

At the end of the day I want player over person.
