Dave Aranda says the staff is hopeful to get guys like Jerrell Boykins, Tre Emory, Tevin Williams, Reggie Bush, Dom Richardson, and possibly Blake Shapen back this week and closer to full go. Hopeful to be the most full strength the team has been since week one.

Unfortunately, these words mean nothing. We've frequently heard guys were healthy only to not see them on the field for three more weeks.gobears20 said:Dave Aranda says the staff is hopeful to get guys like Jerrell Boykins, Tre Emory, Tevin Williams, Reggie Bush, Dom Richardson, and possibly Blake Shapen back this week and closer to full go. I have been wondering that for a few years now.boykin_spaniel said:
When all these guys are getting injured and many against a G5 team you gotta wonder what's going on with the S&C program

I hope he heals 100% and goes on to live his very best life. He's a fine young man.
I also hope he never plays another down for the Bears because he's not a good quarterback.
Can those two truisms coexist without someone who isn't "sports aware" accusing me of being mean?

Unfortunately we don't have a good one on the roster then, because we've played 4 games and Shapen has 66% of the touchdown passes and he has only played in 3/4 of a game. Sawyer is dog ****

It's not Reese or Richardson's fault our Offensive Coordinator, QB's, and O-Line suck balls though.

Shapen will be playing with a knee brace on for the rest of his career.boognish_bear said:
As much as I'd love to see him play against UCF....if he's not legit 100% healed he should not go back out there yet. We have not been able to protect the QB and the last thing we need is a QB that isn't fully mobile.

Sawyer is playing hurt and our play calling is a joke. What colorful words would you use to describe our O-Line? Might as well trash some other 18-20 year olds on our roster while you are rolling.
