God doesn't care about the outcome of football games.
LOL. Im sure they know that, but it didnt stop the BOR for calling out when trying to decide if they should fire Briles
If the only way we can win is to pull a win out of our ass vs. a former G5 team (that is still G5 in all respects), then we are in dire straits.IowaBear said:

Crazy. I literally stopped and asked the Lord if he could please give this to Aranda and the staff and the team. We get to just move on and go to work on Monday. This is their lively hood.
Please tell me you didn't actually do this. You realize there are Christians on the worst team in the FBS too, right?

I'm not sure how this thread got turned into a theology debate, but if anyone is interested in the subject of how prayer fits in with God's sovereignty, this is a good read.

No kidding, I've been as down on the team as anyone. But I'm not sure how we can spin last nights win into a negative. That was as much needed of a win as I can remember. Really feels like we're about to go on a mini winning streak
I would wager that everyone shares those concerns. But Saturday's win did address at least a few of the biggest concerns going into that game -- and more importantly, it provided some hope for the rest of the season where none existed previously.Guitarbiscuit said:
There are plenty of folks who are happy about the win but at the same time rightly have ongoing concerns about the state of this program. And they have a right to be concerned. But sure, why don't you just resort to name calling when someone doesn't completely ascribe to your viewpoint.
Yep, I still stand behind this statement.Doc Holliday said:
I'm thankful for the win and these players finally showed up and put forth great effort…but I've already seen enough to know this program is dogsh it and heads need to roll.
