I am sorry, but Baylor is located in Waco. There is little appeal for little schools in small town vs the big State schools. Baylor has to do it better and have more to offer. I am blown away by the lackadaisical response to the last 2 seasons. Dave, Staff, Mack all act like they don't care. If you are a top recruit why WOULD you choose Baylor and Waco over the other choices.boognish_bear said:

Has anyone caught a glimpse of the hidden progress or internal improvements? Please advise.
I was playing youth football on Saturdays during the Kevin Steele era, thank god. I know those around then keep saying it was even worse and more hopeless then, but I'm struggling to understand because I came into this year with optimism and it's seemed hopeless most of the year.

I would take it a step further and say that we don't even have to phrase this as a hypothetical. The top recruits aren't coming here as we speak. Our recruiting on the offensive side of the ball in this current class is particularly crappy

No, that's what's hilarous. The criticism by the media and other coaches then was that Baylor didn't have a route tree and therefore our offense couldn't be any good............................as we were rolling up point after point after point after point.

There is absolutely no reason that Kansas State and Kansas could find stud coaches and little old Baylor can't. Yes change is scary, but it's necessary. We are just delaying the inevitable at this point.

I'm sitting behind the recruits at the game. They look more like ninth and 10th grade football players than soon to be future college football players.
