Doubtful. As bad as our defense can be, our offense is pathetically worse. I don't know why you have any faith whatsoever in our offense. Shappen sucks, our WRs are lazy route runners, and our O Line is the worst in the conference by a wide, wide margin.

Aranda may get rid of Grimes and reassign Powledge, but I'm not sure anything matters if he doesn't start with the S&C coach. Even UCF, UC and UH are more physical than us with a roster of largely G5 recruits.

I don't know. But the offense is usually better in the second half. I expect it will be this week as well. I also suspect it won't be enough to avoid yet another home loss.

This is objectively false. Our defense has been worse than our offense by every metric.

Our offense sucks because our O-line is incompetent. Our defense is the worse of the two units.

Not sure any OC will come here basically on a 1 yr contract with a lame duck coach..need more time to install and recruit to your offense.

We are splitting hairs because both are pathetically bad, however, I'd venture to bet Baylor has played more defensive snaps than any team in the conference bc the offense is so terrible. It's had to play defense when you are gassed from being on the field 65-70% of the game.

Our offense entered this week ranked 77th in offensive FEI. That's really bad. Our defense was 89th. That's worse.

With a defensive head coach, your defense CAN NOT be that bad. It negates the entire purpose of hiring a defensive HC.
