This is a horribly coached football team.

saw that from a mile away. spread out the defense as much as possible and have plenty of daylight for the QB to run around (or through)

We've had guys out of position all year long on D and that is 100% on a DC who has no idea what he's doing.

it was so obvious when they spread it out. i mean...the players didn't see it. how can they be that badly coached and not just have see it themselves????

The whole Dave Aranda being a genius thing was a total marketing gimmick promulgated by his agent. Being soft-spoken and talking philosophical does not make you a genius. Mack got duped big time. He is not a smart man

Matt Jones ran himself to the edge, leaving zero linebackers in the middle of the field. Inexplicable.

and stood there. played some weird zone / edge contain not crashing the qb.i dont know if that was his role or he just called his own shot there but he did absolutely nothing. and frankly does a lot of that most of every game. he's another player i just cant imagine there's not someone more gifted on the bench that could outperform his slow, poor angling, poor tackling excuse for a LB.
