Person over player fellas. Yeah we lost this game but, there's a lot of internal improvements being made and these players are being shaped into men unlike those stupid teams that pay their players money

Powledge has never been a DC. The only reason he got the job is because no one else wanted it and Dave doesn't have many contacts. If we get rid of Powledge, we're gonna get someone worse than Powledge.

Similarly, if we get rid of Grimes, we're gonna get someone similar to Powledge because no one else is gonna want the job.

The only way this thing gets turned around is to get rid of the head coach.

Everyone wants that, but it ain't happening. The school doesn't have the money, and no donor is willing to take the hit. We're unfortunately stuck with Dave until one of those two situations change. We're not stuck with the coordinators. Although, what good coordinator would want to come work for an obvoius lame duck coach.

I'm of the opinion that anyone is better than what we have.

Agree. If I was a big money donor I'd want all my money in Men's basketball. You only need to buy 7 or 8 players that mesh and have a great coach like we have to win a national championship. In today's college football you have to buy 50+ 4 and 5 star guys and have a championship coach (not many of them to go around) to have a shot at the title in the college playoffs. The longer NIL goes on the bigger the gulf is gonna get.

It is being coached by a coach that only won with better talent. He had success at LSU and Wisky during the Alvarez years. He had one good season here with Rhules players.

He cannot coach at some place like Baylor where we are always having toake do. At Hawaii a similar school he crashed to the point he was sleeping on a couch. The guy needs to go. Grimed needs to go. Bell needs to go.

Football is over - just accept it. Enjoy the tailgate and give your best smile. After the game, we can all go to George's and watch Texas compete for Nattys.

We have been a basketball school for a while now. We should get ready for an exciting season. I have high hopes for this team. Women's game, well, not sure we'll beat LSU tbh (really would have like to have that one back).

This sums up the next 10 years of our football experience. Just setting expectations.

It absolutely reflects our next year. And probably next 2 years. Right down to most of the starters.

We didn't deserve the win today....but looks like a pretty clear hold in the video. Not sure if the player was even in position to have made the play anyway.

Which is why I just don't understand the decision to not go for 2 in regulation. Would much rather have lost that way then having to stop Houston 4 plays in a row to win.

I was surprised. I guess it was because of last week.

Another call we "didn't get" was the chop 2 man hit on Donovan Smith that would have given them 15 yards and likely allowed Houston to ice the game.
He was fully engaged in the slide before 2 Bears gang tackled him. We got away with a huge one.
Refs miss calls. Both ways.
