Maybe the look on Rhoades' face plus losing the locker room may generate an imminent "announcement"? I dunno.

Do you think it was really great to see you all? It didn't seem like he was happy to be there and I'm not even sure he appreciated the question.

One thing that confuses me is that he always says the team didn't quit. I agree. But they also didn't seem to care about D1 athletics until midway through the 4th quarter so the came was over before there was time to quit. Why not just say that?

There was one question where Dave's answer was about potatoes or at least that's all I got from it. But he said he appreciated it 3 times during his response.

My favorite part was when he said "appreciate that", forgot he said it, and then doubled down to say it again while answering the coaches question.

No coach will ever outright admit that. They enjoy getting those fat weekly paychecks. But when you say stuff like "it's a sad, broken locker room", that's the closest thing to an admission you will get.

Maybe Mack is waiting for us to not have a chance at bowl eligibility before he lets Dave go.

Actually, it's more than most people will make in their lifetime. Hopefully, there is a penalty clause in the contract that reduces the amount of payoff based on the team's win/loss record and/or performance on the field. .

That blew me away. That is the start of the end. Every kid that can play somewhere else will enter portal. The ones that can't but want degree will stay. It is going to get worse.
