That's not a bad idea. That kid is built like an NFL tight end. And he had opportunities to transfer last year. Between Arch and Ewers there's not a lot of room for him in Austin. I'm sure he knows that.

He started 2 games won them both. Some schools will automatically make you a starter with that performance

Not a Horn so please don't read it this way. But regarding M Murphy (and Arch Manning for that matter) he was highly recruited and chose his path specifically to spend underclassman season being developed by a coach that meets his skill set. I kinda respect that because he could have started 4 years or at least 3 somewhere else. I'd love to land him here but I don't know if he'd fit the way we run offense. Although next year we may see a different offense.
