Feel like he has proven he can win with fewer resources than most. Might be a good fit.
Chadwell is obviously a very good coach, but I think Traylor or Fritz would be more natural cultural and geographic fits.IowaBear said:
He's been the guy I'm hoping for since it became obvious Dave wasn't gonna work. Firm believer Chadwell is winner regardless of where he's coaching

Chadwell's brashness wouldn't play as well here as it does at the places he's been -- and is likely to go in the future.
And while I know a lot of people think those types of considerations are stupid, they have to be taken into account. I think fit sinks more up-and-coming coaches than competency does.

It's not about internal discipline/toughness. We had both in spades under Matt Rhule, who could be trusted not to say something in public or to the media that would bring unnecessary scrutiny or criticism on the university. I would worry about that more with Chadwell than I would with Traylor or Fritz, who would both build tough/disciplined teams at Baylor.BUGWBBear said:bear2be2 said:Chadwell is obviously a very good coach, but I think Traylor or Fritz would be more natural cultural and geographic fits.IowaBear said:

We need brashness. Too much coddling already.
