Dear David and Craig and Paul!

I've been watching pre-super bowl commentary and I was astonished to see hosts speaking to the game as if it was a gambling arena. They took time out to predict who would score the first TD in the game.

To what point do we separate sports from gambling?....to the point where it metasizes into an utter disrespect for TRUE reporters/commentors like yourselves.

Considering the great job you do, and the magnitude you have with diehard sports enthusiasts, I would beg you to spend some time talking about this issue.

I truly love what you guys do.

Sad, but gambling is just a natural result of pro sports. And it's just the beginning. Take Fertitta, he's going to bring everything Vegas to UH, and college sports in general. And I do think it'll be "everything" Vegas.

Gambling brings in a lot of money to sportsbooks in return for relatively little investment as they don't put on the games. The number of similar situations in a capitalistic environment are very few and far In between.

Some like the predictions for the excitement, but I get how it can overshadow genuine sports talk. It's a balance thing. Would be cool if they discussed how this affects everyone.

I think there's a fine line between acknowledging the betting aspect of sports and letting it overshadow everything else. It's important for commentators to strike a balance and not lose sight of what truly matters to fans like us. True reporters and commentators have a platform and responsibility to steer the conversation back to the game itself. They have the power to influence how sports are perceived and discussed. I'd also recommend checking out pafipdkaltara.org. It seems like a resource for responsible gambling, which is definitely important in today's sports landscape.
