And our DL coach just left for the Baltimore Ravens.
The Baltimore Ravens are hiring Dennis Johnson as their defensive line coach, source says. Johnson was most recently the DL coach at Baylor University. Big role filled for the Ravens.

That is why BC's coach left. He was done with NIL and spending all his time recruiting his existing roster. Took the Packers DC job to focus on X's and O's
I would have no doubt. I never professionally coached, but I did spend a lot of time coaching competitive girls softball for almost 20 years. I can say from experience you never had much of a comfort zone as to who would be on the team for the next season. Having to re-recruit your players on a constant basis allows you no room for doing much of anything else. I can certainly see a lot of coaches, good coaches, even great ones decide it is time to retire or move into something way more stable.boognish_bear said:
It might just be anecdotal… But seems like there have been more coaches moving from college to the NFL than the past years.
Wondering if all of these changes in college football are making it less desirable.

Well, he certainly knows how to execute a spread scheme.
&ct=g And honestly did not have the best talent on the o-line. He clearly knows how to turn average linemen into better linemen for pass protecting and even in the run game as well.boykin_spaniel said:
We struggled in pass pro last year and this dude had very successful stints under Leach guiding OL's that didn't give up a lot of sacks in a pass happy scheme. Not sure we could do better given the circumstances.

Didn't Chip Kelly leave for the same reason?

.@BaylorAthletics director Mack Rhoades talked about the recent departure of O-line coach Chris Kapilovic for Bama.
— Matt Mosley (@mattmosley) February 27, 2024
"That one rubbed me the wrong way," Rhoades told @1660ESPN. "For him to leave after a couple months or less, it's really hard on our student athletes."
