Attention College Football Coaches:

Come on down to Baylor and wreck your career! Even better, get thrown under the bus by a blatantly incompetent Baylor Board of Regents and get a huge payout and an apology letter!

It appears that 0-12 is now a distinct possibility. In my opinion any coach at any level that goes 0fer should not receive another year. I believe Rhodes will give Rhule another year unless the 2018 class begins to unravel, if that happens I don't believe he will have any other choice, buy-out or not.

Can you imagine waiting all offseason to watch CMR lose to Christian Abilene in the opener?

Yes, he is the worst. Doesn't mean he can't get better, but as of today he is absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, unequivocally, positively the undisputed worst in the last 4 decades....and that's saying something. Any coach worth his salt should be able to come into a new program and figure out how to win at least 1 game in the first half of the season. But hey, maybe he will repeat history and win a meaningless game against a bad team (see Temple vs Memphis 2013) or two to feel good about how the season ends 2-10.

You think Tom Herman and Lincoln Riley have peaked?

Absolutely not. And, I think they are licking their chops because they know they will be handing us our butts annually for the foreseeable future. The pecking order has been reshuffled and we are back in our rightful place.

If 0-12, we must cut bait and move on.

Shlt. Sonny Dykes would've started 3-0.

Seriously guys. We have to win and we have to win now. We can't afford 2 more seasons like this. After realignment the best we can hope for is severely damning research in CTE.

I miss Kevin Steele's explosive offense and Norwoo's fierce defense (even if we only play with 9 or 10 players on D.)

I am not sure that Kevin Steele's teams ever put up 36 points in a conference game.

Of course they do. I was making reference to the idea of missing Kevin Steele's offense.

If the guys will keep grinding, wins will come. They are close.

Need to get better play out of the safety position. I've seen a two-year-old with better form than the stand still like a statue and grab with your arms attempt I saw on one play tonight.

If Rhule will start Brewer the remainder of the season, Brewer will save Rhule from being known as the worst first year coach in Baylor history, because unfortunately numbers don't lie, and at this moment, he is.

Because "Quit like the ninnies on the SicEm365 free board" has a much better ring to it.

This is a bad football team right now. It won't always be. And once things finally do click, there will be a whole bunch of posters on this board who will have already shown their true colors during times of adversity.

At what point did you realize that Steele Roberts Morris were not going to win?

Did you ever realize it?

All three were better than what we have now.

Those aren't facts. They're opinions. And ones that are rooted more in emotion than anything else.

And to answer your question:

-- I realized Roberts was a loser when he trashed his players at every opportunity.
-- I realized Steele was a loser when I saw how quickly his players quit on him.
-- I realized Morriss wouldn't win when it became clear his staff couldn't/wouldn't recruit at the level necessary to do so.

None of those are problems with Matt Rhule, despite the disastrous start his Baylor tenure has gotten off to. We're at the low-point of what his time at Baylor will bring, and he's already shown more as a leader and recruiter than any of those coaches you mentioned did at their heights. In time, as our young players mature and grow more familiar with what this staff is trying to do schematically, we'll see the on-field coaching that made him a success at Temple, and the wins will follow.

When they do, I look forward to seeing the back-tracking and "yeah, buts" we'll see from all the quitters on this site who bailed at the first sign of adversity.

We'd all love to have to back-track. The point is we won't have too because Rhule will never be a winner in the Big 12. He is bad coach and bad coaches don't win.
