That's a huge jump. And will be interesting to see how this affects walk-ons.
Remember 105 allowed scholarships doesn't mean every program spends that.
It's a common misconception that athletic scholarships are simply "free". The departments cross bill so at a small school like BU that's 20 potential additional rides or basically $1M that the football program has to buy from the registrar.
I'd expect some larger programs to jump on this and smaller ones may stay put.

1. A school is allowed to offer up to 105 scholarships.

2. 105 will be the roster limit going forward. This is actually a negative for those schools who recently figured out they could have donors write big NIL checks to walkons (Tech) to avoid the 85 scholarship limit.
