I haven't been overly impressed with his accuracy or decision-making. The athleticism is really the main selling point there.

He's going to throw some picks and fumble some on scrambles. But he can do a lot of things Sawyer can't in the run game. We're just not showing it against Tarleton tonight because there's no reason to.

He's a poor decision maker always has been. Good secondary's are going to eat him alive. His footwork is Shapen bad

He threw it into double coverage off his back foot and underthrew it by like 5 yards. That has nothing to do with "what we're showing" on offense. And it hasn't been his only head scratching pass this game. With Utah coming up in a week, there's reasons for concern, that's all I'm saying

The strength of his game is as a scrambler and playmaker. We knew that when we signed him.

He's going to make a ton of plays -- many for us and a few for the opposition.

We'll see his value once we open up the offense and let him loose.

We got the ESPN AA team. Thats the team when they went through the whole alphabet list of announcing teams rankings and started over again...

I hope you are right, clearly he's athletic but I'm not seeing what I expected. He's not a true dual threat imo, he just doesn't look like he can improvise a breakaway fast run. Too indecisive maybe?

The point is we're using him as a pocket passer in this game, and that's not what he is. He's a playmaker.

Once he's set free to use his legs, he'll be a better, more efficient player.

Opening up the offense has zilch to do with these dumb turnovers. He did the same at Toledo and often got away with it due to the comp level.
I could care less how many plays he makes when he's continually making plays for the defense by gifting extra possessions.
