Baylor basketball (3-0) recorded its third straight win to open the season with a 94-81 victory over the Tarleton State Texans (2-3) on Friday night at Foster Pavilion.
Head coach Mitch Thompson’s squad has continued its torrid start to the season with another 4-0 week that included a Tuesday takedown of Tarleton and a weekend sweep of Loyola Marymount in which the Bears outscored the Lions 24 to 8.
No. 12 Baylor (3-1) throttles Tarleton State (1-4) 104-41. The Bears were led by Jalen Celestine's 20 points off the bench. Baylor heads to the Bahamas this week to face St. John's and play another game against either Tennessee or Virginia.
