How did this idiot win the starting job? John David Weed was better.

Talent evaluation. Helen Keller could evaluate talent better than the clown HC we have

Cicero was okay given the talent around him.

He will look great once we open up the other 50% of the offense. This is all part of the game plan

I was afraid that a couple of nice plates against Ohio. St got him overrated.

And schedule Long Island.

Yet another mistake by Dave Aranda in a long line of them. Additionally he will probably be too dense to replace Finn in the 2nd half with Robertson, who can actually throw the ball.

Those who want to call us "knee jerk" reactors are wrong, because there are times when all it takes is a small sample size to show that a quarterback either has it or he does not.

Finn is not a great QB but you're stretching things here.

Aranda talks about winning is all that matters. We will see if that is true or not. He sticks with Finn and we have one more data point he is all talk.

To be fair to Finn, no one would look great behind this OL. He did miss the out route and launch a ball to no one at some point but… he fumbled because he got hit throwing a screen pass. No QB can succeed without the time to throw a screen pass

We are being fair to Finn. He is unable to hit open receivers even with protection.

I'm not saying he looks good but the OL looks worse

Finn sucks. But you guys and your fuzzy Shapen memories, remind me who started last year? Or 2022? Who was at the wheel in 2023?
Come on, man. We are all tired of losing.

They both are pretty bad.

Oh I know we weren't good last two years. I was just being facetious. Finn sucks

Finn is not an idiot. Aranda is the one to blame for bringing a one dimensional quarterback on board.
Killing Floor

True.
The player isn't installing the scheme. Finn is now a 6 year starter. Nobody should be surprised by what he's doing. It's been in film.
This is Aranda's mess.

He actually got worse as the game progressed. He must have a single-digit IQ.

Robertson is a much better passer. Not even close. Finn is just not good enough passer to run this offense.

Not going to comment on his IQ, but I will say that I have not seen a Baylor quarterback this inaccurate since around the year 2000.

Problem is, Aranda doesn't know this.

Gerry Bohannon in the Big 12 Championship game was close.

Then why is Finn starting? I think we are in for a rough season. They're both solid FCS level players if you're objective.

Person over player.

I think it comes down to a coach truly incapable of making correct decisions with both personnel and play calling.

Going for it on 4th and 5 in the 1st half is not a call that a quality head makes whose team has shown no ability to get any yardage on downs 1 to 3.

I demand a refund from all videos posted this summer showing Finn completing a pass.

Use Robertson the rest of the year and find out if he can play so you know what you may have for next year. He couldn't be any less accurate or less decisive than Finn.

What a bad take. No QB behind that offensive line against a great Utah defense was going to be any better. It's also his first true power 4 game and on the road against a team that doesn't lose at home? There's a lot more positives to take from this game than any game last year. The defense was stout

Your take is a lot worse than the take about which you are complaining. Even with no pressure, Finn showed no accuracy at all.

Agree with GB on this one. He had time to throw on several occasions and whiffed or wouldn't pull the trigger. Finn is a runner. We need someone who can pass and run. Robertson as a sophomore who had not started one game was better last year than what I saw from Finn the last two games.

Robertson gives us a better chance to win.
