UCF beat TCU!
Hooray!
And because this was the only conference game of the season so far, they are currently at the bottom of conference standings! I know this probably won't last but I can enjoy it for a week.

Yep....looking like he really benefited from the tailwind that GP left behind
The TV announcers at the end kept saying TCU had lost a 21 point lead.PartyBear said:
What was that large lead up to that was blown though? Was it the 31-13 score that I saw when I checked my app from McLane or was it larger than that at some point?
The Briles offense back then may not work as well today. The more coaches see an offense that at the time can't be or is extremely difficult to control, the more they are able to design a defense to at least slow it down. There has been plenty of time to do that. If that was not the case, UT would still be running the wishbone.Quote:
Watching them not be able to run the ball in a Briles derivative offense is kinda funny.
It was 28-7 Toads early in the 3rd qtrPartyBear said:

Absolutely. Plus, OK-Lite showed the Briles offense could be stopped. We had won 9 straight - we were rolling and we lost to them 17-49. When I saw Petty trip on the way to the endzone I knew it was going to be a bad day.blackie said:The TV announcers at the end kept saying TCU had lost a 21 point lead.PartyBear said:

I'm sure the super covid seniors helped push a lot of teams into a great season or two. tcu, Baylor and UTSA all come to mind.PartyBear said:
Weren't those his players who had been there 5 or so years? It was an old team.
